Competitive tennis, both league and social, in Goostrey Village is organised by the Tennis Club, which meets at Boothbed Lane Playing Fields.  Turn up and play “Club” sessions are held on Sunday Mornings from 10.30 to 12.30 and on Wednesday Evenings from 18.00 to dusk.  Club time on Saturdays, between 14.00 and 17.00, is bookable for members.

Special Junior Coaching Sessions organised by Bill Craig and Zena Lloyd take place on Saturday Lunch times.  The programme is supported by the LTA and currently there is an active group of more than 20 8 - 14 year olds gaining a good grounding in the sport.

League Tennis
Goostrey Tennis Club participates in the Wilson South and Mid Cheshire Tennis Leagues. Click on this link for more information about the South Cheshire League.
League matches are played on Tuesday and Thursday Evenings.

Club Competitions:
Goostrey Tennis Club organises two main competitions in the year. During May and June the “Goostrey Open” takes place.  This is a competition, which is open to all fully paid up members of the playing field.
